Uses

Parfix Thick 'n' Thin is designed as a heavy duty underlay which forms a very smooth, hard surface for a variety of floor finishes including carpet, ceramic tiles and particularly sheet rubber, sheet vinyl and vinyl tiles.

Technical Features

• Can be applied directly onto prepared concrete floors, eliminates traditional sand cement screeds
• Dimensionally stable, can be installed in large areas
• Excellent adhesion to prepared substrates
• Rapid hardening and curing allows speedy access for foot traffic and for overlaying with carpet, vinyl etc
• Produces a very smooth surface essential for laying thin sheet coverings such as vinyl

Application Tips

• Although Parfix Thick 'n' Thin has a 28 day compressive strength of 25MPa, it is designed as an underlay material only and NOT a wearing course for traffic
• Parfix Thick 'n' Thin must not be used in areas subject to permanent wetting or where hydrostatic pressure is likely
• To prevent rapid drying protect from direct sunlight and/or drying winds during application and the final curing period
• If the surface onto which the Parfix Thick 'n' Thin is applied, moves or cracks, reflective cracking may occur

Clean Up

Parfix Thick 'n' Thin should be removed from tools and equipment with clean water immediately after use. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.

Each 20kg bag yields 12ltrs when prepared according to instructions, which will cover 1m2 at 12mm thick
